A board-certified internist, Dr. Kathleen Farrell has a passion for improving the lives of men, women, and teens through better health and aesthetics. She founded Laser Lisse to bring state-of-the-art, medical-grade aesthetic and cosmetic services to the Gaithersburg, Maryland area.
Dr. Farrell completed her undergraduate degree at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. She earned her MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, with a special focus on primary care and dermatology.
In addition to leading Laser Lisse, Dr. Farrell practices outpatient Internal Medicine/Primary Care with her physician colleague and sister at Frekko Primary Care, a concierge practice located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She holds an active medical staff membership at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and is a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS), the Maryland Medical Society (MedChi), and has been active with the Georgetown Clinical Society (GCS).
Dr. Farrell has been chosen multiple times as a “Top Doc” in Washingtonian magazine. She was also named a “Rising Star” in Super Doctors magazine and has been highlighted in Consumers’ Checkbook magazine. In her spare time, Dr. Farrell enjoys tennis, yoga, and spending time with her husband and three children.
